The Dutch mandolinist Sebastiaan de Grebber currently works as a
teacher at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Zwolle and is a sought-after
soloist and chamber musician in the Netherlands and abroad. He is
Concertmaster of the HET Consort and leader of the Kamper
Mandoline en Gitaar Orkest.
In addition, he is a
sought-after tutor for seminars and master classes in Europe and
America such as at Trinity-London, European Guitar and Mandolin
Youth Orchestra and in San Diego.
He performs as soloist and chamber musician in various ensembles
and regularly performs with the pianist Eva van den Dool.
He studied both music education and mandolin
performance with Alex Timmermann and Ugo Orlandi in Holland and
Italy. He graduated in 2005 with a Master of Music from the
Conservatory ‘C. Pollini’ in Padova.
