Markus Sich works as a musician, educator and tutor at music
schools, with orchestras and ensembles and has been a board member
of the European Guitar Teachers Association Germany- NRW since
2015.
He is in demand as adjudicator in instrumental competitions such
as Jugend Musiziert and the Gerd-Högener-Preis in Düsseldorf.
During his studies he refined his craft in masterclasses
with Zoran Dukić, Hubert Käppel, William Kanengiser, Judicaël
Perroy and Pavel Steidl. Markus Sich has been awarded numerous
prizes at various competitions.
Since April 2018, he is the head of Mettmann Music School. He
studied classical guitar at the Cologne Academy of Music and
Dance/ Wuppertal under prof. Alfred Eickholt and prof.Gerhard
Reichenbach.
