After graduating from the University of Glasgow in Scotland in
2017, Iain Lennon moved to Germany to complete his Master of Music
under
Prof. Caterina Lichtenberg and Annika Hinsche at the
Cologne Academy of Music and Dance/ Wuppertal.
Iain Lennon regularly leads workshops and tutors mandolin. He has
performed in the UK, at the San Diego Classical Mandolin Camp
(2017), with Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen,
has appeared in various pop and rock formations, has worked as a
church musician and is currently concertmaster of the British
National Fretted Orchestra and Jugendzupforchester NRW. He was
also a prize winner at the Modena International Solo Mandolin
Competition.
Since 2018 he conducts Dortmund Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra and
teaches at the music school of the city of Hilden.
