Ferdinand Binnendijk is a sought after soloist and chamber
musician. He has performed as soloist with orchestras such as the
Dutch Chamber Orchestra, the Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra and
Orkest van het Osten.
He is also a member of Nieuw Ensemble
which specialises in new music and has played in various
orchestras all over Europe.
He formed Duo Corelli together with harpist Susanne Zijderveld.
Their debut CD Cordes Emouvants was published in 2018. He is also
a member of Het Consort and the Castilia Mandolin Quintet.
The regular collaboration with guitarist Noortje Vredveld and the
pianist and organist Laurens de Man as well as other artists is
also part of his work.
Ferdinand Binnendijk has been awarded numerous prizes such as the
Concorso Raffaele Calace, the Prinses Christina Concours, the
Tristan Keuris Concours and the audience prize of the
Grachtenfestivals Conservatorium Concours. He finished his studies
in 2016 at ArtEZ Konservatorium in Zwolle under Alex Timmermann
with a master of music.
