Kristina Lisner works as a mandolinist, teacher, adjudicator and
music mediator in North-Rhine Westphalia and throughout Germany.
She currently teaches mandolin at the Music School of the
City of Gladbeck and is working as a freelance music mediator in
the interplay between new teaching methods and concert formats for
various productions in NRW.
Kristina Lisner has received several awards at national and
international competitions, including the prestigious Yasuo
Kuwahara Competition for mandolin solo. For her chamber music work
in Duo Amabile as well as in the ensemble trioLogie she has been
awarded several scholarships
such as the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation ‘Live Music Now’ and is
currently a scholarship holder of the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl
Dörken Foundation.In 2015, the debut album "soundscapes vol.1"
with the ensemble "trioLogie" was released by the music label
‘encora’.
Kristina Lisner completed her studies in 2016 with a Master of
Music in mandolin at the Cologne Academy of Music and Dance/
Wuppertal under prof. Caterina Lichtenberg and Silke Lisko. In
addition, in the same year she completed the Master of Music in
Music Education/ Music Management at the Detmold Academy of Music.
