Fabian Hinsche has won prizes at over 10 competitions throughout
Europe including renowned competitions in Spain, Italy and Greece
as well as Germany and received scholarships from the Richard
Wagner Association and the Friedrich-Jürgen-Sellheim-Society, and
the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation Live Music Now.
Fabian Hinsche currently teaches as a visiting lecturer at the
institute for music at Osnabrück academy and Zürich conservatory
of music and has been guest lecturer at other conservatories and
universities. Many of his students have won first prize at the
competition Jugend Musiziert and have been prize winners at
various international guitar competitions.
He has made several recordings as soloist and chamber musician for
CD and radio. Fabian Hinsche wrote his (Dr. phil.) thesis in
media culture analysis on 'Aesthetics of musical interpretation'
and is editor of the ETGA journal- the new guitar magazine.
He lectures and publishes papers on historical, guitaristic and
also aesthetic matters and has edited numerous sheet music
publications for various publishers including Edition Mare Duo and
Trekel Verlag.
He studied guitar under Prof. Alfred Eickholt, Prof. Carlo
Marchione und Prof. Hubert Käppel.
